Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Auto Guard Trust LLC, which owns and operates Auto Guard Trust and the website at https://autoguardtrust.com and related domains that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Sites,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and processes your personal information, and describes your rights and choices. This Policy applies to all Sites on which a link to it appears.
Who We Are — Important
Auto Guard Trust is a marketing and lead-generation service. We help connect consumers who are interested in auto insurance with third-party licensed insurance providers, agents, and marketing partners (“Partners”). We are not an insurance company, agent, or broker. We do not sell, solicit, negotiate, quote, or bind insurance, and we do not provide insurance advice. Any insurance product, quote, or policy is offered solely by the licensed Partner you choose to engage, under that Partner’s own terms and privacy policy.
Acceptance
By accessing the Sites, submitting information through them, or calling a number posted on them, you accept the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Changes
We may revise this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted and are reflected in the “Last Modified” date. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent or provide additional notice before applying material changes to information already collected.
1. Information We Collect
Contact Data
Name, telephone number(s), email address, postal address or ZIP code.
Insurance-Related Information You Provide
For example, your current insurance status, vehicle information, age range, and homeownership status, to the extent you choose to provide it. We do not request your Social Security number or driver’s-license number on our Sites.
Performance & Log Data
IP address, browser type, operating system, device and application identifiers, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, dates/times, approximate geolocation, and mobile carrier.
Cookies, Web Pixels, and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, web pixels, web beacons, and similar tools for site functionality, analytics, advertising, and remarketing. You can manage cookies through your browser and through the opt-out tools listed below. We also use ActiveProspect’s TrustedForm and Jornaya’s LeadiD to independently document consent; these collect page interaction data, IP address, timestamps, and a snapshot of the page where the script runs (see TrustedForm and Jornaya privacy policies for details).
2. How We Collect
We collect information directly from you when you complete a form or call a number on our Sites; automatically through cookies and similar technologies; and from third parties such as advertising and analytics providers.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Connect you with one or more Partners who can provide auto-insurance quotes, products, or information;
- Contact you — and authorize our Partners to contact you — by phone call, text message, and email, including by automated technology and prerecorded/artificial voice, for marketing and related purposes, subject to your consent and your right to revoke it;
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Sites;
- Prevent fraud and ensure security;
- Comply with law.
4. How We Share Information
- Partners (lead delivery). When you submit a request or call us, we share your information with one or more Partners (licensed insurance providers/agents and marketing partners) so they can contact you about auto insurance. Partners are independent third parties; once your information is transferred to a Partner, it is subject to that Partner’s own privacy policy and is no longer under our control. A current list of Partner categories is available at our Marketing Partners page.
- Service Providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, consent verification, communications) under contracts limiting their use to providing services to us.
- Affiliates under common control with us.
- Legal/Business Transfers: to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
“Sale” and “Sharing” of Personal Information
Our lead-generation business model means we are paid by Partners for connecting them with interested consumers. Under some laws this is considered a “sale” of personal information, and our use of advertising cookies/pixels may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out — see “Your Rights and Choices.”
5. Consent to Calls and Texts; Revoking It
If you provide a phone number and consent, you authorize us and our Partners to contact you (including by autodialer and prerecorded/artificial voice) for marketing. You may revoke this consent at any time and by any reasonable means — for text messages, reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT-OUT, or REVOKE; you may also email support@autoguardtrust.com or call +1 (833) 670-3487. We will honor your request as soon as practicable and no later than ten (10) business days after receipt. A revocation in any channel applies to both calls and text messages unless you specify otherwise. We may send a single confirmation message with no marketing content. Note that Partners are separate entities; you must contact a Partner directly to revoke consent you gave to that Partner.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, you may have the right to: access/know the personal information we hold; correct inaccuracies; delete your information; obtain a portable copy; opt out of the sale or sharing of your information; limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise, email support@autoguardtrust.com or call +1 (833) 670-3487.
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. You may opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information by contacting us at support@autoguardtrust.com or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor where required by law.
- Opt-Out Preference Signals / DNT. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, but we treat a GPC opt-out preference signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing for that browser/device where required by law.
- Sensitive Personal Information. We do not request SSN or driver’s-license numbers on our Sites. To the extent we process any information deemed “sensitive,” we use it only for legally permitted purposes and you may request that we limit such use.
7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA/CPRA”), provides you with the following rights regarding your personal information:
We collect the categories: Identifiers (name, contact, IP); Commercial information; Internet/network activity; Geolocation; and Inferences. We disclose and “sell”/“share” these categories to/with Partners and advertising providers as described above.
- Right to Know / Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
- Right to Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions;
- Right to Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
- Right to Opt Out of the “Sale” or “Sharing” of your personal information. Because our business model involves transferring your information to Partners for monetary or other valuable consideration and for cross-context behavioral advertising, this activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA;
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights;
- Authorized Agent — you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf; we may require verification of your identity and the agent’s authority.
California residents may exercise access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out of sale/sharing, and limit-Sensitive-PI rights, twice per 12 months, via a verifiable request to support@autoguardtrust.com. You may use an authorized agent.
8. Your Privacy Rights in Other U.S. States
Depending on your state (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others), and subject to law and exceptions, you may have rights to confirm/access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of the sale of, targeted advertising based on, and certain profiling of your personal data. To exercise, contact support@autoguardtrust.com. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal”; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state Attorney General.
9. Telemarketing / Do Not Call
We maintain an internal Do-Not-Call list. To be added, email support@autoguardtrust.com or call +1 (833) 670-3487 with your name and number(s). We honor such requests as soon as practicable and no later than ten (10) business days after receipt, consistent with federal and state law. Partners maintain their own Do-Not-Call lists; contact them directly.
10. Cookies and Analytics
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. These include:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — to understand how visitors use the Site;
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to measure and optimize advertising and to support interest-based advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of certain analytics and advertising as described by those providers (for example, Google Analytics opt-out tools and Meta’s ad preferences). Some features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
11. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here — generally for the duration of our relationship with you and a reasonable period thereafter — and longer where required to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe, after which your details are added to our suppression list. We do not retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our Sites are intended for adults 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
13. International
We operate in the United States and process information here. If you access the Sites from outside the U.S., you consent to processing in the U.S.
